New information kiosks coming to Topeka at zero cost

TOPEKA (KSNT) – The City of Topeka is looking to add some new digital kiosks into the downtown area in the coming days.

People checking out the new kiosks will be able to use them to view maps of the city and pay for parking. Users can also contact law enforcement quickly as each of the kiosks will be installed with a 911 panic button.

“This could add to the vibrancy of our downtown, to NOTO and as we discussed, if the pilot is successful, we can expand to other areas of our community,” said Topeka City Manager Robert Perez.

The City of Topeka is in negotiations with the vendor to install these new kiosks. The kiosks come at no cost to the city.
