Man arrested after chase, crash in South Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A man was arrested after a chase ended in a crash in South Jackson.

The crash occurred near the Elton Road bridge on August 21, 2025.

Pearl Police Chief Nick McLendon said the driver crash near the bridge and attempted to run from the scene. He was captured by officers.

No one was injured during the incident. The driver has not been identified.
