Hot, dry Friday in the Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Another hot day Friday with temperatures still in the 90s inland. A couple of spots will potentially hit the 100s at the very warmest furthest inland.

Skies will be sunny and dry yet again but fortunately not too windy as we do see fire danger remaining critical today.

The Pickett Fire in the North Bay will see winds at around 10-15 mph but with such dry and hot weather fire growth potential is concerning. Some smoke from the Pickett Fire is likely to settle in Napa, Solano and Colusa Counties.

Sunrise in San Francisco is at 6:32 a.m. Sunset is at 7:53 p.m.
