
ROSELAND, La. (WGNO) — A mandatory evacuation has been ordered for an area of Roseland after a report of an explosion at a business on Friday, Aug. 22.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that Highway 51 at Highway 10 in Roseland is closed at this time. Drivers in the area are being advised to take alternate routes.
Tangipahoa Parish Government officials ordered a mandatory evacuation of a 1-mile radius of the intersection of Highway 51 and Highway 10 in Roseland.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
