Man dies after tree goes through skid steer in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A man died after tree went through the windshield of a skid steer in Warren County, officials said.

Firefighters with the Warren County Fire Service and EMS responded to Hannah Road in northern Warren County on August 20, 2025.

According to officials, the unidentified victim was trapped in the skid steer after a tree penetrated the windshield. He died from his injuries.

The victim was extricated from the equipment with the assistance of Vicksburg firefighters and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
