Founded in 1985, the Mountain Home Food Basket is a 100 percent volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping those in need of food assistance. The group is supported entirely through donations of food and funds from local businesses, schools, individuals, churches, organizations and grants.
The Food Basket also partners with AmpleHarvest.org, a nationwide nonprofit working to reduce food waste and hunger by connecting gardeners with food pantries.
