NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The hideous heat continues once again giving us a Heat Advisory for Wednesday except this one starts at 11 a.m. running through 6 p.m.

Wednesday’s Heat Advisory is similarly to Tuesday’s, but with a few less coastal areas and starting an hour later along with ending an hour earlier.

Taking a look at the expected high temperatures across the area as the Heat Index values approach the 110-mark:

New Orleans had a dew point of 90% as of 3 a.m. which isn’t too far off from what it was on Tuesday morning around that same time, but luckily we will see the humidity start to dip throughout the day — and this will be a greater dip than Tuesday’s.

Unfortunately, the “humidity dip” will be temporary as it’ll make comeback in time for Thursday morning so there’s a chance we could see another Heat Advisory for tomorrow as well…

We will have the chance to see some showers and storms on Wednesday, and for that we take a look at FUTURECAST:

Lots of sunshine in the early morning hours, but we’ll start to see the first showers and storms in the area coastally come about 11:30 a.m.

By 1 p.m., they’ll be a bit more scattered with the heavier storms remaining along the coast then come after dinner the North Shore will get in on the “rain action” through the overnight.

For the latest on what to expect for the weather on Wednesday please tune-in for “Good Morning New Orleans” from 4:30-7 a.m. and “WGNO NEWS” at 11 a.m. with our Natalie Parsons!
