BERWICK, La. (KLFY) — Berwick Police Department announces the arrest of three teenagers following two separate disturbances involving fights and social media videos, authorities said.

Chief David Leonard Sr. said a 14-, 16- and 17-year-old were arrested for disturbing the peace. One of them was identified as Bradley Howard, 17.

Officers responded to a fight the morning of Aug. 8. A video later surfaced showing two juveniles who had clearly agreed to meet and fight, authorities said. During the altercation, a third person joined in and began striking and kicking the other teen while he was lying defenseless.

A fourth person, 14, who filmed the incident and shared the video on social media, was also arrested and charged with unlawful posting of criminal activity.

Later that evening, officers responded to another disturbance in the area of River Road involving several people. Three of the teens involved in the morning fight participated in this second incident as an act of retaliation, authorities said.

No other details were released.
