NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans mayor is asking for a pause in the federal civil rights lawsuit against her, filed by Anne Breaud.
Breaud claims the mayor violated her civil rights after her personal information was released in the mayor’s attempt to get a restraining order against her.
Cantrell accused Breaud of stalking her by taking photos of Cantrell and her former bodyguard Jeffrey Vappie.
The case was scheduled to go to court next in September.
