Boone County residents encouraged to take part in IEMA damage assessment

BELVIDERE, Ill. (WTVO) — Belvidere and Boone County residents are being encouraged to complete official Illinois Emergency Management Agency damage assessment surveys following weekend storms.

Anyone who experience damage from the recent severe storms can complete a official Residential Damage Assessment Survey.

Damage reports help local, county, and state officials accurately measure the impact of this storm. Data will also help determine whether Boone County and other affected areas receive federal disaster relief.
