BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Napoleonville woman was arrested on felony charges after she was accused of boarding a school bus and threatening the driver.
Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon confirmed Alicia Powell, 47, was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of public intimidation – threats.

The incident happened on Friday, Aug. 15, in the 100 block of Georgette Street.
Deputies spoke with the person who made the complaint about Powell, along with school board officials, who said that on Friday morning, Powell boarded the bus and made threats towards the driver.
Powell was arrested and later released on a $7,500 bond.
