At around 7:48 p.m. on Aug. 9, Colma police officers were in the Target parking lot on Junipero Serra Boulevard, where police say they noticed a man from a prior theft and made contact with him.
The subject, identified as a 49-year-old San Francisco resident, had a $50,000 and a $10,000 felony warrant. He also had $10,000 and $1,000 misdemeanor warrant for his arrest, according to the police investigation.
Colma PD said as officers were detaining the man, police found a sap weapon, which is a type of short, concealable club that is typically filled with lead.
The suspect was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for having a leaded weapon and his warrants.
