School Zone Safety: With Caddo Parish students back in class, Arceneaux urged drivers to slow down, obey school zone speed limits, and avoid distractions, especially cell phone use.
A.C. Steere Park Renovations: A ribbon-cutting was held Thursday morning for new all-inclusive playground surfacing, making the park more accessible for children of all abilities.
Clean Sweep Campaign: Now in its seventh week, the citywide cleanup has removed more than 3 million pounds of trash and nearly 3,000 illegally dumped tires. The next cleanup will take place in the Pines Road area, starting at Bill Cockrell Park.
New Police Substations: Arceneaux said the recently opened substations are improving police visibility, encouraging neighborhood investment, and changing community behavior.
