Monthly SSNIP events hosted by Robinson’s Rescue

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)–At least once a month, Robinson’s Rescue holds SSNIP voucher events at different locations around Shreveport-Bossier. The latest one was held at the Cedar Grove library.

These events aim to register individuals in need of spay and neuter services. Eligibility is limited to individuals earning $2,100 or less per month or married couples earning $3,100 or less per month. If you meet the requirements, the surgeries are free.

On voucher days, you can get help with paperwork, ask questions, and begin the process. You must bring a valid photo ID and Proof of Income.

There were also representatives from Caddo Animal Services, Bossier City Animal Control, and Nova’s Heart Animals Support Services to share information on their programs.

To find out when the next event will be held, go to www.robinsonrescue.org.
