CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (DC News Now) — A Prince George’s County family is opening an assisted living home to provide seniors with a good quality of life living space.

Flora Amadi is the owner of Heaven’s Hands Assisted Living.  She says her and her husband, Beks’, mission is to provide compassionate care.

“Heaven’s Hands assisted living…will offer 24/7 care for adults. Assisting them with daily living, eating, dressing, food and medicating management and exercise and activities, and going out. Low-level aerobics basically everything they need to feel dignified and age gracefully.”

The facility, located in Capitol Heights, features a five-bedroom home with Jacuzzis in some rooms as well as motorized beds.

The owners of the Black owned business plan to open on August 22.  The home will offer around-the-clock care from a licensed staff.
