New code officer sworn in

SHENANDOAH – Shenandoah’s new code enforcement officer was sworn in earlier this week.

Borough Council voted to hire Boris at last month’s council meeting.

He is of no relation to the borough council president of the same name.

Boris succeeds Jim Flail as full-time code enforcement officer in the borough.

He was sworn in by Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker.

Boris serves as company chief at the Columbia Hose Fire Co. and has previously worked for the water authority.
