Pennsylvania falls to South Dakota in 2025 Little League World Series

(WHTM) — It’s not the end of their Little League World Series trip, but their ride got a little tougher.

Friday evening, the Glenmoore Eagles Little League, based out of Chester County and representing Pennsylvania, lost its first game in Williamsport to South Dakota.

Representing the Midwest, South Dakota took a 2-0 lead early in the first inning and carried it through the rest of the game.

Pennsylvania will now head to the elimination bracket. They will play Illinois (Great Lakes) at 3 p.m. this Saturday.

This is Pennsylvania’s fifth-straight appearance in the Little League World Series, but the first time for Glenmoore Eagles. Because the tournament is double-elimination, it’s a must win if they hope to extend their stay.
