NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — It’s the two-day auction of the estate of the late Joseph “Joe” Jaeger, Jr.
More than 560 items are here for you to see and buy, according to WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood.
Jaeger, Jr. was from the Ninth Ward. He started out as a teenaged-plumber and became a hotelier and realtor.
His hotels included the Bourbon Orleans, Dauphine Orleans, Hotel Mazarin, Maison Dupuy and Audubon Cottages.
Along the way, he collected, and now up for auction is a lifetime of treasures. You can put in your bid on the Crescent City Auction Gallery website.
