Handcuffed man in custody accused of stealing Perry County Sheriff’s Office cruiser

PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Perry County Sheriff’s Office is asking people to be on the lookout for a stolen Dodge Charger.

Around 9 p.m., the sheriff’s office announced on Facebook that a sheriff’s office cruiser was stolen around 8 p.m. from the Perry County Park.

According to the office, Chris Combs was in custody and handcuffed behind the back in the back seat when he managed to escape his cuffs and allegedly steal the cruiser.

Police said the man should be considered armed and dangerous and left in an unknown direction.
