Cruise ship honors America’s heroes at Port of New Orleans

WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood is ready to take you aboard the Carnival Valor.

You’ll see the Heroes Tribute Bar and Lounge.

“Here we want to pay tribute to all our military, families, men and women, saying thank you for that they do for us,” said Hotel Director for Carnival Valor Nuria Costal.

The casino on the Valor is also new and improved.

There’s a Twister Waterslide and the AquaTunnel.

If you spend too much time at the buffet, you’ll want to spend more time in the ship’s gym.

The cruise ship has a good name, Valor, meaning courage, brave, fearless and in the case of this love boat, all in the name of fun.
