SMUD hosts launch party for Sacramento educators at Aerospace Museum

(FOX40.COM) — SMUD is hosting a launch party for teachers, homeschool educators and other instructors to ring in the new school year on Wednesday.

Educators in the Sacramento area will be able to participate in hands-on activities and receive curriculum ideas for their students at the Aerospace Museum of California from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

According to SMUD, the event will be a networking opportunity. Food, music, beverages, raffles and a year-long membership to the museum will also be included.

Local leaders from Sacramento State, Sacramento Republic FC, Learn Fresh, Department of Water Resources, the California Association of Science Educators and more will be attending to showcase their educational resources.
