SHENANDOAH – Art students at the Shenandoah Valley High School helped spruce up a local firehouse.
Members of the Shenandoah Valley Art Honor Society helped repaint the Columbia Hose firehouse on the west end, including a mural out front.
The mural depicts the company’s mascot, Marvin the Martian, with the unit numbers for the company’s fire apparatus.
Under the direction of SV Art Teacher and Advisor Jennifer Zemek, the students in the honor society must perform various art projects throughout the year and over the summer.
