Reward for capture of armed, dangerous S.C. sex crime suspect

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – The United States Marshals and the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office are asking the public’s help in locating a wanted man.

40-year-old Ricky Dean Clinton is wanted for several sex crimes involving a minor, including:

• Human Trafficking of a Child
• Indecent Liberties with a Child
• 1st Degree Kidnapping
• Sexual Servitude of a Minor
• Deliver Controlled Substance to a Minor
• Statutory Rape

post from the Sheriff’s Office says Clinton had an inappropriate relationship with a teenage girl in Honea Path, S.C. That was reported in May.

A flyer from the U.S. Mashals Office states the suspect should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS, is known to abuse drugs and has violent tendencies.

The agency advises all law enforcement to exercise EXTREME CAUTION if they come into contact with Clinton.

A $2500 reward is being offered for information that leads to his arrest.
