Auburn Police ask for help finding missing man last seen Aug. 3

AUBURN, Ala. (WRBL) – Auburn Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 42-year-old Wesley Carter Herbert, last seen on August 3, 2025. Herbert is described as a white male, 5’7”, about 170 pounds, with tattoos on his torso, chest, and left shoulder. He was last seen wearing white shorts.

Police say Herbert was reported missing on August 8 and detectives are actively following all leads.

Anyone who sees Herbert is urged to call Auburn Police at (334) 501-3100, the tip line at (334) 246-1391, or email police@auburnalabama.org. Officials ask that anyone who spots him avoid direct contact and instead notify authorities immediately.
