On Aug. 7, deputies arrested Charles Lee Jackson Jr., 37, of Many, on charges of driving on the right side of the road with exceptions, driving on a roadway laned for traffic, open container, possession of methamphetamine in excess of 200 grams, and possession of a Schedule II narcotic with intent to distribute. Bond has not been set, and Jackson remains in the Vernon Parish jail.
On Aug. 8, Kelby Kaye James, 24, of Leesville, was arrested on three outstanding bench warrants. Bond has not been set, and James remains in jail.
On Aug. 9, deputies arrested Kourtney Rose Lewis, 31, of Florien, on an outstanding bench warrant. Bond has not been set, and Lewis remains in jail.
Also on Aug. 9, Joseph Roman Martin, 41, of Simpson, was arrested on a charge of violating a protective order. Bond has not been set, and Martin remains in jail.
