Traffic Advisory: Extreme delays expected in Bossier due to roadwork

BOSSIER PARISH (KTAL/KMSS) – Starting tomorrow morning, August 12, 2025, motorists on Parks Road should anticipate significant traffic delays due to roadwork.

The project, contracted out by the Bossier Parish Police Jury, will focus on overlaying Parks Road and extending eastward onto Linton Road, reaching up to the fire station.

Work is expected to continue through Wednesday.

During this time, traffic flaggers will be stationed on-site to assist in directing vehicles.

Drivers may encounter lane closures and slow-moving traffic in the construction zone.

To avoid delays, motorists are encouraged to consider alternate routes or allow extra travel time.
