This comes after the Marshal’s service, ICE agents, and the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office teamed up for a fugitive apprehension operation in Frederick on Aug. 7.
During the operation, authorities arrested 27-year-old Denis Misael Dominguez Reyes, a citizen of El Salvador, during a Final Order of Removal, which was issued by federal immigration authorities.
As the investigation developed, authorities learned that Dominguez Reyes may have been harboring a 16-year-old girl from El Salvador, who had been reported missing in Frederick County.
Dominguez Reyes was located on 7th Street. During the arrest, the teen girl was found safe and reunited with her family.
“Assisting our state and local partners to recover critically missing children is a top priority of the United States Marshals Service,” stated Clinton Fuchs, U.S. Marshal for the District of Maryland. “We will continue to do everything we can to find these children and safely reunite them with their families.”
