Dixon sex offender arrested for failure to register with Illinois authorities

DIXON, Ill. (WTVO) — An Illinois sex offender has been arrested for violating the terms of his parole and failing to register.

According to Dixon Police, Medwin Simpson, 49, was flagged by the Illinois Department of Corrections for failure to report a change of address.

He was arrested in Dixon on Tuesday, August 12th and taken to the Lee County Jail.
