The incident happened on the night of Aug. 9 when Christian K. Pulley, 18, entered the Leesburg Police Department (LPD) and claimed that he had just tried to kill a person he knew.
According to the police, shortly after Pulley arrived at the police station, a family member of the victim, a juvenile, called 911 to report the incident.
Following an investigation, evidence showed that Pully had allegedly attacked the victim and strangled them on Catoctin Circle NE, police said.
The victim was treated for their injuries and released.
Police charged Pully with attempted murder and kidnapping. He is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
The incident remains under investigation by the LPD. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call 703-771-4500.
