West Baton Rouge deputies look for man accused of putting skimming device on ATM
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Investigators are asking for the community’s help to identify a man accused of placing a skimming device on an ATM at a Port Allen credit union.

The West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said an unknown man put the skimming device on a drive-up ATM at the Neighbors Federal Credit Union after 9:30 p.m. July 2. Authorities added that the man returned around 9 p.m. July 6 to remove the device.

How to contact detectives

Anyone who recognizes the suspect can contact detectives at 225-382-5200 or 225-343-9234. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867.

Credit union members reported unauthorized charges and compromised cards. Residents are encouraged to check their bank accounts for suspicious activity after using this ATM location.
