Ogle County 17-year-old charged with DUI after driving on rims

FORRESTON, Ill. (WTVO) — A 17-year-old was arrested for drunk driving after police received a complaint of a vehicle driving on its rims near Forreston.

According to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, police received the complaint around 12:25 a.m. Monday morning.

Responding deputies found the vehicle disabled in the 10900 block of N. Baileyville Road, near Forreston.

The juvenile driver was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, improper lane usage, illegal stopping on a roadway, and failure to carry a license/permit.

He was released to a parent and given a notice to appear at a future court date.
