NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Chance the Rapper is calling all his “Summer Friends” to the Fillmore in September.

The Grammy award winning artist announced the 15-city North America dates for his upcoming “And We Back Tour.” The announcement comes just as his new full length album “Star Line” is set to be released on Aug. 15.

The “No Problem” singer said this independent project is a reflection of his global journey, spiritually and physically over the past six years.

“Created with longtime producer DexLvL and shaped by travels to Ghana, Jamaica, and art fairs around the world, Star Line blends hip-hop, soul, and experimental sounds with lyrical meditations on identity, resilience, and legacy,” said Live Nation officials.

The album features artists such as Lil Wayne and Smino.

The North American leg of the tour will kick off Sept. 26 in Houston, Texas with the second show happening in New Orleans on Sept. 27. From there, the “Sunday Candy” rapper will visit other places including Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, Washington and Phoenix and end in Los Angeles.

Presale tickets will start on Tuesday, Aug. 12, for Citi cardholders and Verizon customers. General tickets will go on sale on Friday, Aug. 15.
