Pennsylvania returns to the Little League World Series

(WHTM) — Pennsylvania is headed back to the Little League World Series.

The Glenmoore Eagle Little League team (Pennsylvania), based out of Chester County, secured the state’s fifth-straight appearance in the tournament.

They earned the Mid-Atlantic Region Championship after a dominant 7-1 victory over Maryland on Friday. Now, they will chase another title in Williamsport.

Pennsylvania’s own will play their first game representing the Mid-Atlantic at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, against the Midwest.

Sioux Falls Little League (South Dakota) will represent the Midwest after a 6-0 shutout against North Dakota.
