All lanes of Interstate 85 near the the 45 mile marker, in Macon County, were initially blocked off. Eventually, the right northbound and southbound lanes were reopened while the left lanes remained closed.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash occurred at approximately 3:39 p.m. Saturday and reportedly involved a commercial vehicle.
