Airlines add to and from Columbus flights for Ohio State football games

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Ohio State fans are getting a bonus this football season, as several airlines at John Glenn Columbus International Airport are gearing up with flights around game days, getting ticket holders into or out of town just in time for kickoff.

The airport has announced that four carriers, including American, Delta, Southwest and United, have added flights to whisk those who bleed scarlet and gray to and from some of the biggest matchups of the year. The airport noted in its “FlyColumbus” newsletter that these routes go beyond what is typically available, leveraging additional demand from Buckeyes fans.
