Forward-thinking developers use .xyz domains to drive innovation in blockchain technology. DeFi strategy platform CanopyHub.xyz aims to simplify DeFi yield strategies. Decentralized Lending Exchange Ammalgam.xyz aims to enhance capital efficiency and empower DeFi users. Crypto payment platform Kulipa.xyz seeks to simplify digital transactions. In this week’s #BlockchainThursday, we’ll introduce you to a decentralized exchange unifying token launches, AMMs, and onchain order book trading on MegaETH: GTE.xyz.
GTE.xyz is the online home of Global Token Exchange (GTE), a decentralized exchange designed to cover the entire lifecycle of a token on one platform. According to GTE’s documentation, the platform integrates several components into a single interface:
This unified approach is designed to reduce the fragmentation of decentralized trading by helping users launch, trade, and manage assets without navigating multiple protocols. In June 2025, GTE announced a $15M Series A funding round exclusively led by Paradigm.xyz. This followed earlier fundraising totaling $10M across pre-seed, seed, and community-focused rounds, bringing its total funding to $25M.1
GTE operates at the intersection of decentralized finance and high-speed trading infrastructure. The platform is built on MegaETH, an Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible Layer-2 blockchain designed for real-time performance, which reportedly enables up to 100,000 transactions per second with millisecond-level block times. According to GTE, this foundation makes it possible to run a fully onchain order book with centralized exchange-like speed while retaining the benefits of decentralization, such as non-custodial asset management and composability with other protocols. GTE’s features are aimed to support different stages of an asset’s journey, from price discovery on the AMM to advanced spot and perpetual trading through its CLOBs. This unified design can simplify workflows for traders and liquidity providers while fostering deeper onchain liquidity.
The startup is co-founded by Matteo Lunghi, Nate Burbage, and Moses Lee. According to their LinkedIn profiles, Matteo previously served as a Tech Lead and Forward Deployed Software Engineer at Palantir Technologies, where he led projects in the United States and South Korea. Nate’s background includes research at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where he supported academic projects in business and analytics. Moses brings experience in Rust and full-stack development from his work as a software engineer at collectibles startup Courtyard. The co-founders’ combined experiences in enterprise software, academic research, and blockchain development contribute to GTE’s multi-faceted approach to building a high-performance decentralized exchange.
GTE uses GTE.xyz for its online presence, aligning with .xyz’s position as a domain of choice for innovators across blockchain, decentralized finance, and emerging technologies. .XYZ is embraced by developers, startups, and organizations seeking short, memorable, and forward-thinking web addresses. GTE’s choice of GTE.xyz reflects its connection to this growing community of builders and traders, while providing an adaptable digital home for its platform. You can learn more by following the DEX on X/Twitter @GTE_XYZ and LinkedIn @gtexyz, by joining the Discord, and by visiting GTE.xyz.
