APD investigating fatal northeast Austin motorcycle crash

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department is investigating after a fatal motorcycle crash that happened in northeast Austin over the weekend.

Shortly before midnight on Aug. 2, officers responded to a single motorcycle crash in the 9200 block of Cameron Road near East Rundberg Lane, per a news release from APD.

The motorcyclist, who was identified as 62-year-old Terrance E. English, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.

This is now being investigated as Austin’s 58th fatal crash of 2025, police said.

The crash remained under investigation Wednesday.
