The Sicilian Butcher & The Sicilian Baker bring authentic flavors to Dallas

DALLAS (KDAF) — The Sicilian Butcher will officially open its North Dallas location on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

Located at 5225 Belt Line Road, Suite 240, this marks the brand’s second Texas restaurant following the successful debut of its Fort Worth location in July 2024.

Since its introduction in 2017, The Sicilian Butcher has gained popularity for its build-your-own meal experience featuring gourmet meatballs and Sicilian-style bruschetta boards. Originally launched in Arizona, the brand has continued its regional success alongside The Sicilian Baker, the Italian bakery attached to each Butcher location, renowned for its innovative build-your-own cannoli bar experience.

“Texas has shown up for The Sicilian Butcher. Since opening in Dallas Fort Worth last year, we’ve seen packed dining rooms, loyal regulars, and an outpouring of love for the concept,” says Andrew K. Smith, managing director and co-founder of Savory Fund. “Chef Joey and his team have built something truly special — an authentic, flavor-forward menu paired with that unforgettable Italian hospitality. We can’t wait to watch North Dallas fall in love with this beautiful new location.”

The North Dallas location will feature signature offerings including Chef Joey’s dishes, build-your-own pastas, Sicilian family platters, bruschetta boards, and more. Guests can also enjoy authentic Sicilian cannoli, rotating gelato flavors, and Italian pastry classics such as lobster tails and sfogliatelle at The Sicilian Baker.

“We are so excited to bring a taste of Sicily to Dallas,” says Joey Maggiore, chef and co-founder of The Maggiore Group. “From our amazing house-made pastas and signature craft meatballs to our Build Your Own Cannoli Bar, we can’t wait to welcome guests into our kitchen and show them what true Sicilian hospitality is all about.”

With the opening of North Dallas, The Sicilian Butcher and The Sicilian Baker will operate five locations across the Southwest, with a third Texas location set to open in San Antonio later this year. This exciting growth mirrors the momentum of sister concept Hash Kitchen, which now boasts 10 locations across the Southwest, including Fort Worth and Pearland, Texas, both of which opened in 2024.

To mark the occasion, The Sicilian Butcher will donate 5 percent of all opening day sales on Thursday, August 7 to Feed the Children, a nonprofit dedicated to ending childhood hunger by providing families with food and essential resources worldwide.
