“I am running for State Representative to make a difference and give voice to the real concerns of Illinoisans. I want to reverse the downward trajectory in Illinois that forces our children and grandchildren to look to other states for jobs and a future,” Easton said in a statement.
Easton will be running for the Republican nomination.
“Local families are tired of the nonsense and want their representative to focus on veterans and their needs, and senior citizens and the values of their homes. Vella has focused on assisted suicide and spending billions of dollars on illegal migrants instead of on Illinois and our residents,” she continued.
“I want to make sure that Illinois has a good business climate that attracts and keeps jobs here. We need a pro-growth economic strategy to bring high-paying manufacturing jobs that provide wages that sustain a family. That means lowering taxes and taking a hard look at Illinois’ regulatory environment,” she added.
Easton said she would advocate for Illinois’ residents’ quality of life, focusing on the values of their homes, business climate, lowering taxes, and on veterans and senior citizens.
“I have a strong commitment to our families, veterans, and community safety, and I am ready to bring your voice to Springfield. I believe in empowering parents, supporting our law enforcement, and ensuring that every veteran receives the healthcare they rightfully deserve,” she said.
The Republican Primary begins August 5th, 2025. The General Election will be held on November 3rd, 2026.
