Police presence in West Jordan blocks traffic on major roadway

WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC4) — Police activity on 7800 South in West Jordan is blocking eastbound traffic near Redwood Wood, late Wednesday morning.

The incident was first reported by the Utah Department of Transportation just after 11 a.m. on Aug. 6. Details on the incident are limited, but ABC4 has a crew on scene working to learn more. This article will be updated as more information becomes available.

During the closure, UDOT advised drivers to expect delays in the area of 7800 South and 2200 West. Commuters are encouraged to use an alternate route, such as 9000 South.
