Four-vehicle collision in Montgomery County sends woman to hospital

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A woman was taken to the hospital after four vehicles collided in Montgomery County on Tuesday.

Davis Pazos with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) said crews were dispatched minutes after 8 a.m. on Aug. 5 for a crash on Old Hundred Road, near Interstate 270. He said four vehicles, including a pickup truck and an SUV, were involved in the collision.

Crews rescued a person trapped in their vehicle. A woman was also taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Pictures on social media showed front damage to multiple cars. In one picture, it was clear that a truck and an SUV slammed partially head-on into each other.

The crash remains under investigation.
