Caltrains delayed after pedestrian struck by train in Sunnyvale

(KRON) — Caltrain trains are being delayed due to police activity in the Sunnyvale area, according to a service advisory. According to the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a person was possibly struck by a train near Evelyn and Mary avenues.

Traffic is being diverted on Mary Avenue. Sunnyvale DPS advises that people avoid the area if possible.
