
PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (FOX 56) — A teen has been arrested in Floyd County after a shooting on Friday.
According to the Prestonsburg Police Department, extensive measures were taken to identify the suspects as quickly as possible.
The investigation led authorities to a gray Toyota Tacoma, with the driver coming forward and cooperating with authorities.
The shooter was identified as a 17-year-old—he’s now in custody, formally charged with wanton endangerment and criminal mischief.
The Floyd County Attorney’s Office said it plans to seek a ruling to charge the 17-year-old as an adult
