The Saints wrapped up their final day of training camp in Metairie before heading to California. They will practice in Irvine from August 6-15.
Quarterback Spencer Rattler took a majority of the first-team reps again, and he’s the first Saints QB to do so in back-to-back practices during training camp.
Running back Devin Neal is expected to miss a few weeks with a hamstring injury. With him sidelined, the battle for RB2 is between Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Kendre Miller.
Head coach Kellen Moore provided updates on the quarterback and running back battles, along with sharing the team’s plan for this week on the West Coast.
New Orleans will face the Los Angeles Chargers in their first preseason game on Sunday, August 10.
