’90s country star Tracy Byrd to perform live in northeast Kansas
MAYETTA (KSNT) – The country music star behind hits like “Watermelon Crawl” and “The Keeper of the Star’s” is coming to northeast Kansas this fall for a live performance at a local casino.

Prairie Band Casino & Resort announced that country musician Tracy Byrd will be visiting its location in Mayetta for an upcoming performance. Byrd is due to give a live show at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23 at the casino’s Great Lakes Ballroom.

Byrd reached stardom in the 1990s with his third single, “Holdin’ Heaven,” and later released multiple hit songs like “Don’t Take Her She’s All I Got,” “I’m From the Country,” and “Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo,” according to his website. He has embarked on tours across the U.S. and internationally during his career.
