6 displaced after fire erupts in Visalia garage

VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Six people were displaced after a fire broke out in a Visalia home Saturday afternoon, the Visalia Fire Department announced.

Around 2 p.m., firefighters responded to a house fire in the 2700 block of West Packwood Drive where they reported finding flames pouring out of the garage and attic.

Visalia Fire says they called a second alarm for more resources. Overall, the fire caused significant damage and took about 45 minutes to contain.
