Two arrested, charged as accessories in TN quadruple murder

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WREG) — Two Jackson, Tennessee, men have been arrested as accessories after the fact in connection with a quadruple murder in Lake County, Tennessee.

Tanaka Brown, 29, an associate of suspect Austin Drummond, is charged with Accessory After the Fact to 1st Degree Murder and Tampering with Evidence, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced Saturday.

Brown was booked into the Lake County Jail, where he remains without bond. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office did not release a mugshot Saturday.

Late Saturday night, TBI announced the arrest of Giovonte Thomas on a charge of Accessory After the Fact to 1st Degree Murder.

Thomas was already being held in the Madison County Jail on an unrelated charge for failure to appear. He will be transferred to the Lake County Jail to be arraigned on the new charges, TBI said.

Drummond is still wanted by authorities in the killings, which were discovered on Tuesday. He was last seen on Wednesday in Jackson, where he has deep ties.

A white Audi associated with Drummond was found in Jackson on Friday. A pickup truck allegedly belonging to one of the victims was found Saturday in Dyer County.

Drummond is wanted on warrants for four counts of First Degree Murder, one count of Aggravated Kidnapping, four counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.

The bodies of James Wilson, 21, Adrianna Williams, 20, Cortney Rose, 38 and Braydon Williams, 15 were found Tuesday along Carrington Road in Tiptonville.

An infant who was related to the victims was also found safe in front of a house in Dyer County.
