Truck tied to Tennessee quadruple murder suspect found in Dyer County: TBI

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WREG) — A pickup truck associated with quadruple murder suspect Austin Drummond has been located in Dyer County, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Saturday.

The 1988 Ford pickup was found near Burnt Mill Road.

TBI asked anyone in the Burnt Mill Road area with cameras to review footage from Tuesday morning to see if they spot Drummond or the truck.

So far, authorities have not said how the truck was related to the search for Drummond, whose white Audi was found Friday in Jackson, sparking a manhunt in that area.

TBI said there were signs Drummond may have been living in the Audi and could still be in the area.

But the truck and the Audi may not be the only vehicles that could be connected to the case.

The Dyer County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday asked for the public’s help gathering any video footage taken along Highway 78 from Dyersburg to Lake County from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday that might show one of several vehicles.

In addition to the white Audi and Ford pickup, authorities are also seeking information on a white Nissan Rogue, black Dodge Charger and white Chevy Traverse.

Dyer County authorities said those vehicles had already been recovered, but they were looking for video footage that may place them along that route near the time of the crime. They did not specify how those vehicles may be connected to the case.

They asked anyone with video footage to contact the sheriff’s office or call 1-800-TBI-FIND immediately.

TBI said the last confirmed sighting of Drummond was Wednesday in Jackson, where he has direct connections.

Drummond is the suspect in the deaths of four family members found Tuesday in Lake County, Tennessee.

The bodies of James Wilson, 21, Adrianna Williams, 20, Cortney Rose, 38 and Braydon Williams, 15 were found along Carrington Road in Tiptonville.

An infant who was related to the victims was also found safe in front of a house in Dyer County. That’s when the investigation into the incident began.

TBI officials said this is believed to be a targeted attack.

Drummond is wanted on warrants for four counts of First Degree Murder, one count of Aggravated Kidnapping, four counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.
