Sparklight celebrated its grand opening at the new location in Marshall, Texas, with a community event on Thursday. The company recently bought Fidelity Communications and rebranded. They held a launch party open to the public with free food, a raffle, and Sparklight swag.
City officials, the Chamber of Commerce, along with the location’s manager, staff, and technicians, were present to meet with people and interested customers. The region’s spokesperson said they hire locally while contributing to the local economy.
“We’re in your community as your neighborly provider. This location has about 20 employees from our customer service teams to our technical team,” said Hope Baxter, Regional Marketing Director, Sparklight South Central Region.
The company has new offers for homes and businesses. Baxtor addressed any service interruptions customers may experience.
“If you have any internet issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Sparklight. We’ll be happy to let you know an ETA and get started working on the problem,” Baxtor said.
She said that currently, 10,000 customers are enrolled in this location’s coverage, which runs off fiber optics.
The team took a group photo to celebrate their new location.
