Crews searching for missing man at Willard Bay State Park

BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Search and rescue crews are looking for a man that went missing at Willard Bay State Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Utah Department of Natural Resources says a search is underway for a 41-year-old male from Davis County after he fell off an inflatable raft while on the reservoir.

Crews initially received the call around 4:45 p.m. The other occupant on the raft was transported by ambulance to the hospital in stable condition. It is reported that neither individual was wearing a life jacket.

Crews from the Utah DNR Law Enforcement Division, Willard City Police Department and the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office are on scene assisting in the search.
